Alone

Jesus had nowhere to lay his head.

He had no home.

And because he knew what it meant to be alone,

He looked after Tony, the man,

On this journey he’s on, all alone.

Jesus knew the man

Jesus was there with him,

Though all the praise he received seemed comforting

For being “The man”;

That came from far away, in the echoes of their worship. Yet

Jesus was close by,

Because Jesus knew what it meant to be alone.
