Trees (1)

A grave fate waits

I fall

I pray; to cast my cares to

The Lord who hears

I fall

Do I stop midway?

Do I hide in a cave?

Do I yell and scream, and go insane?

Do I snarl and huff?

Like a lion in the rough?

God watches me

I fall

I see

A shady tree in front,

A narrow path ahead

Yes,

I can see beyond—

It’s a surprise

I am on the road, again
